About The Owner :
Robin worked at Vaughn's Café as an intern during her junior year at Clarinda High School in 2000. Following her internship, she worked as a cook at Vaughn's until 2005 when she gave birth to her second child. Soon after, she cooked and waited tables at her grandmother's diner in Villisca where she remained for the next four years. After this, she was hired by Good Samaritan Center to work in their dietary department where she worked for five years while she attended school and earned her degree as a certified dietary manager. For the past two and a half years, Robin was serving as culinary coordinator at Windsor Manor in Shenandoah until she heard that Vaughn's was up for sale. She had always dreamed of owning her own café so she jumped at this opportunity.
